One Story a Day for Science monthly series (January to December), published by DC Canada Education Publishing, is a well-planned and thoughtfully developed educational resource for young learners. This series has been written by a team of experienced Canadian authors and educators and is designed to support scientific understanding through simple, engaging, and meaningful stories. Each book in the series presents one story per day, using a storytelling approach to explain scientific concepts. The language used is clear, age-appropriate, and easy to understand, which makes science learning enjoyable for students. Through storytelling, difficult scientific ideas are presented in a simple and relatable way, helping students develop interest and confidence in the subject. The series covers a wide range of science topics, including physics, biology, chemistry, environmental studies, astronomy, and earth sciences. The topics are organized in a gradual and logical sequence from January to December, allowing students to build their understanding step by step. Each story encourages students to think, ask questions, and connect scientific ideas with their daily life. A very strong feature of this series is the explanation of difficult words. Meanings of challenging vocabulary are provided clearly, which supports students’ language development and helps them understand scientific terms without confusion. This feature is especially helpful for students who need additional support in reading and comprehension. The inclusion of short explanations, glossaries, and supporting activities further strengthens students’ understanding of concepts. These elements ensure that students do not rely on memorization but instead develop clear conceptual understanding. The illustrations used in the books support the text and help students visualize ideas, making learning more effective and engaging. It promotes inquiry-based learning, strengthens reading skills, and presents science in an interesting and stress-free manner. The series aligns well with our organizational goal of developing students’ conceptual clarity, curiosity, and love for learning. The daily reading format encourages consistency, discipline, and regular study habits among students. Teachers can easily integrate these books into classroom instruction, while students can also use them for independent reading. This flexibility makes the series suitable for both classroom and home learning environments. In conclusion, One Story a Day for Science is a valuable and effective science learning resource for our adopted schools. Its simple language, engaging storytelling, clear explanation of vocabulary, and strong conceptual focus make it highly beneficial for students. The series supports both academic growth and overall development, which is why it has been rightly adopted by our organization as part of its instructional resources.

Misbah Ghufran – Lahore American School, Lahore Pakistan
Response from Grade 5 Teacher: Raz-Kids is a valuable resource for both students and teachers. It motivates students by offering engaging, interactive reading experiences while allowing them to read at their own level. The platform supports differentiated instruction, providing tools to tailor lessons based on individual student needs. As a supplement to classroom instruction, Raz-Kids reinforces key literacy skills, helping students build reading fluency and comprehension both in and out of the classroom. Raz-Plus helps my students stay motivated to read every day, and the book quizzes are very beneficial to aid in skill comprehension. I am able to monitor their progress and determine which skills need additional classroom intervention. RAZ is also a useful tool for students to get leveled texts that are quick and easy to read independently.

"It was interesting and covered the basic aspects of our curriculum for phonics" Book Title: "Short vowels" Author: [Cathy Jackson] Target Age Group: 4-6 years old Feedback: I recently used "Short vowels" with my kindergarten class, and I was impressed with the engaging activities and systematic approach to teaching phonics skills. The book's layout is clear and easy to follow, making it simple for both teachers and students to navigate.
Ms. Neelofer Nafees - Principal Buds School System Rawalpindi
I would highly recommend "Short Vowel" to teachers and parents looking for a comprehensive and engaging phonics program. While there are some areas for improvement, the book's strengths far outweigh its weaknesses, and I believe it would be a valuable addition to any early childhood classroom or home learning environment. Rating: 4.7/5 stars
